There are plenty of activities for all at James Lee Memorial Park.

James Lee Memorial Park facilities include a one of a kind Skate Park, Playground, Gazebo with picnic tables and barbecues, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, (3) Ball Fields, Soccer Field, Exercise & Nature Trails, Concession Stand and Restrooms.

For facility reservations, please contact the Recreation Department at (775) 267-2805 x 28.  Permits are issued on a first come, first served basis and are issued upon approval.  The Parks and Recreation Department programs will have priority for any Park facility.  To download a reservation permit,  Scroll down and click on " "Special Use Permit & Fee Schedule".

VALLEY VISTA PARK
Valley Vista Park offers a grand vista of the Carson Valley to the south, Carson Mountain Range to the
west and the Pinenut Mountain Range to the east.  Located on Vista Grande Blvd. directly behind the Home Depot.  The park offers benches and a grass area to just sit and relax.  This phase will also include the
Gazebo and picnic tables over the concrete pad.




DOG PARK

Indian Hills General Improvement District is proud to announce the only fenced Dog Park in Douglas County located in James Lee Park by providing a safe place for people to take their dogs to socialize and promote responsible pet ownership.

With room to grow, the District has installed a 13,000 square foot Dog Park amenities include; double gated entrance designed for off-leash dogs, water hydrant, dog waste dispensers, shade shelter, shade trees, two picnic tables, three benches and a water fountain.

Future improvements will include a small turf area, decomposed granite will cover the entire dirt area and a sprinkler system that will allow us to water the turf and decomposed granite for dust control.
